Is it really worth it?
Do I just need a good moisturiser? (suggestions welcome)

I'm 37

You need a sunblock and a retinol/retin a cream.

I use mid/high end anti aging products and look good on them if I say so myself. But I have always used them and for all I know cheap stuff is just as effective. For me they're a bit of fun and bring pleasure.

have a look at Skin & Me or Dermatica for an anti ageing retin a over night cream made for your skin type. As pp said don't be tight with the sunblock you will need it every day even in winter.

Thanks all

Just looking at night creams - am I looking for retin a or retinol or both? Is there another word for this like a type of acid?

Thanks again so much for being so helpful - I'm very soap and water, I have no idea.

Try the ordinary weakest retinol, 3 drops is enough for the face and build up slowly. It’s only £4 and will last ages, you can put it on your neck, chest too. I think it’s 0.2%.
