Moisturiser/products for hyperpigmentation

I have quite a lot of sun damage from childhood/teens when I was a latch kid and spent all day outside. I also work in an Early Years setting so spend half my day outside.

I don’t have the best skincare routine. I wash my face twice a day with various facial washes from supermarket to luxury brands but I’m not very consistent with moisturising.

I am In my early 40s, I Have dry skin that can be sensitive to some products, particularly scented. I try to avoid the sun and do wear high factor spf on sunny days, but mostly forget/don’t bother the rest of the time, unless my skin is very dry. I don’t like the feel of a lot of moisturisers, so would want something light that sinks in to my skin, rather than feel like it’s on top. It would also be great if the product had a high spf.

What are your recommendations? The less products the better!

I've been using this at night and it goes on easily and seems to have made a difference to me www.eucerin.co.uk/products/anti-pigment/night-cream they do a day cream too with spf but I haven't tried that

Thank you - I’ve used that brand before, will Give it a go

I have Been using some eucerin testers I got from my local chemist - including the day cream with spf 50 - it’s light and feels like moisturiser rather than sunscreen.

The REN overnight cream actually really works so does using a vitamin C serum through the day and retinol at night I’ve been using them months and finally starting to see a difference

I've been using the Eucerin day cream with spf for pigmentation for a couple of months - no change to the sun/age spots on my face unfortunately.

I've got the Inkey List Tranexamic acid night sum thing, to try next. Good luck.

If you're not familiar with Caroline Hirons I recommend you read her blog. Here's the post on pigmentation, and she's recently released a book which is a game-changer if you don't know where to start with skincare.

I recently purchased the inkey list tranexamic acid and cosrx rice overnight mask for some spot pigmentation marks.

I have also used Kiehl’s clearly corrective serum for years which is good but I feel like I could do with an extra boost .
