Very, Very dark brown eyeshadow to use for tightlining

I had a great one but dropped it and it broke and now discontinued. Most of the browns are too medium brown and not dark enough. Ideally a brown/black I suppose.

Any recommendations please?

The darkest shade in this could work? I use this palette all the time- really good pigment and staying power

NARS Coconut Grove is a deep cool toned dark brown.

Laura Mercier do cake eyeliners made specifically for tightlining. You wet your brush and apply.

I hardly ever wear eyeshadow

Bobbi Brown Dark chocolate but can't find it on the website, maybe it's discontinued.
There's also Smoke, described as a deep brown black.

I had the same problem a few years ago, then I found this COLLECTION Eyebrow Kit, Blonde and I've never used anything else since.

All three colours are powders and I use the darkest one the most, for lining, but occasionally use the other two as no-makeup eyeshadow. I'm not blonde, I'm dark auburn, but in the 'brunette' palette the darkest is black and the second darkest is dark grey.

That looks really interesting and I have just bought it and so cheap if it does the job but also lots of other recommendations so thank you and will work through them if this one does not suit me but worth a try at that price.

How do you tight line using eyeshadow? And what kind of brush do you use?

Has anyone got any links to tutorials?

I'm struggling to do eyeliner in the usual way. It usually ends up too thick and makes my eyes look piggy.

You should probably check on youtube but I just push it up from underneath into the top eyelashes and the Collection one mentioned above is the perfect shade of dark brown and comes with a little angled brush and was very cheap so win/win.

Thanks @superstar63. I've tried doing that with a pencil but it just irritated my eyes.

I think I'll order the kit mentioned here and have a go with that.
