Two questions, one about magnetic eyelashes and one about beauty samples

I've never put anything on my eyes except mascara. A lot of my colleagues get those semi permanent mascara/extension put on, but I don't fancy that because I know it can make your lashes fall out

I've spotted a set of magnetic ones on Amazon that seem to have good reviews - won't let me link, but the brand is Arishine.

Are magnetics worth a try? Do they take forever to put on? Will they damage my lashes? I wear contacts - anyone have any issues?

• second question - apart from Feel Unique is there anywhere else I can get free beauty samples? I want to put a selection in teen DD's stocking

I've got some magnetic ones from Amazon, they're the ones that come with a magnetic eyeliner and they stick to that, not where you get 2 bits that stick together either side of your own lashes.

I think they're much easier than glueing a pair on, they stay put pretty well. Probably don't look as good as lash extensions, but not bad for a night out. Won't cause any lash damage as they're not attached to your own, but the liner can be a bit bitty, so not sure how they'd be with contacts... Think they'd be ok though?

I tried both sorts of magnetic ones - had no joy at all with them.
