Hairdryer recommendations wanted!

My first ever style & beauty thread..... and it's not for me (I have neither style nor beauty Grin)

We do family secret santa presents at Christmas, budget up to £50.

My recipient wants a new hairdryer, but has specified that it must have a long cord.

(To that I'd add that the cord needs to be flexible and rubbery, as I had one once with a stiff plasticky cord that used to tangle around itself ridiculously easily and drove me mad!)

What's the best out there for the money? I've looked on Amazon and there are loads of makes I've never heard of which look good. But am I better sticking with a known brand?

All recommendations (or ones to avoid) welcome.

Thanks :-)

I had a Tresseme one for years. Can't remember which one but it lasted forever and was very good.
I upscale to a Parlux which IMO isn't nearly as good as my old Tresemme one.

A bit over budget but this is a very good hairdryer, my original one lasted many years.
