The perfect slippers: are they out there?

Requirements:

  • Not too cosy (I get really hot feet)
  • Supportive (feet and legs get quite achy by day’s end)
  • Pretty design in neutral colour (greens/greys, although I do love a splash of purple)
  • Budget up to £40-50 (cheaper if possible!)

Are they out there?! Struggling to find any that aren’t fleece-lined or something more for my nan’s age (I’m in my 30s).

Vionics amazing for plantar fasciitis sufferers.

M&s slippers with secret support are good (I suffer from plantar fasciitis and morton's neuroma). Only £12-20.

I think the problem here is in asking any one pair of slippers to be the holy grail. We don't do that with other shoes. I have 5 pairs to suit most conditions - mid summer I don't wear slippers at all, just sandals. I have an ugg boot pair, another leather shoe shearling lined pair, a fitted wool clog, a looser more open clog and shearling lined Arizona birkenstocks. I used to have light cotton slippers for summer. I may get some again some day but I didn't feel they warrented being replaced. I'm grateful for the selection as wfh I notice my comfort needs change throughout the day as well throughout the year. Yes, I will suffer greatly when I have to return to work.

Clark's do a great pair that look like uggs but only 17pound they aren't way to hot good supporting bottom slip ons and they last for a very long time I'm not a huge slipper fan but have a couple pairs of these
