Waterproof boots

I'm after some ankle boots for wearing when we go a walk. I also need some day to day boots too.

Is it possible to find one pair that would do for both? Or am I better off maybe buying some short wellies like these Joules ones and then a decent pair of boots too?

I use 'snow boots' basically like a wellington boot at the bottom and a soft boot at the top, currently using a pair I bought in Also, but there's loads of different makes and styles to suit every budget.

Also????? Aldi!

I have some lovely sorel boots that look nice and are also waterproof. Ugg have nice waterproof boots atm (not the sheepskin ones!) and someone also posted some waterproof emu boots that just look like Chelsea boots in another thread.

I would never have thought to look at Vans but I've just bought these and I'm very pleased with them

I got plain black but there are other colours too.

I bought Muck boots for walking the dog - so comfortable and waterproof. Not exactly glam but great for what I need them for.

Joseph Siebel "biker" boots (I think they are Sandra 30). Best boots I have ever owned. Warm, comfortable & waterproof. Look great with jeans etc although I personally would wear them with a skirt or dress but others may get away with it.

I bought some Gore-Tex boots from Hotter last year. They're waterproof but they may not suit your style!

Thank you. I'm going to check all these out now. I'm hoping for something that is smart enough to maybe walk around London in/go to the pub in (if ever we're allowed to do such things) too.

I've already got some snow boots, but they're too warm for general wear.

Lockdown ends tomorrow for us I'm going to try on new boots mine are leaking.
I looking at these and these

I have some sheepskin lined ugg boots that are waterproof enough to stomp through the woods and shallow puddles but wiped off and brushed with a suede brush, are great for shopping and out and about. I love them.

I recently bought a pair of timberlands. They do a slimmer version which looks ok with dresses and they are waterproof www.office.co.uk/view/product/office_catalog/2,10/2328300482?referer=carousel

Thanks all. I haven't seen anything yet which is quite right.

I think I might have to go for some wellies and then some smarter boots instead, annoyingly.

These Uggs are my favourites so far, but not available in my size.
