Help! Oily roots and dry damaged ends - what to use??

As the title suggests my hair has oily roots, and dry, flyaway, damaged ends. Can anyone recommend some products which could help?

I need to wash it every day as otherwise its incredibly limp and oily, but I make sure to keep shampoo at the roots and conditioner at the ends only. I'm at my wits end with how terrible it looks at the moment so any recommendations would be welcome!

My hair is exactly the same! I use olaplex shampoo and conditioner, along with no6 bond smoother and no7 hair oil, expensive but it's genuinely saved my hair.

Me too! Since I hit my 40s my once strong, straight, shiny hair has turned to cotton wool! I think perimenopause has a lot to do with it and apparently I am very low in vit D which may also be a cause. I have had olaplex (pre covid) and it really helped. May have to invest and do it myself at home!

Ooh thank you! I had kind of overlooked Olaplex thinking it was more for hair that was just dry and damaged but I will have a look! Maybe I can wangle it as a Christmas present if it's expensive Grin

Mine is like that and I use the Elvive Extraordinary Clay shampoo and conditioner, I can now go three days before it needs washing.

Thanks @MadisonAvenue I tried the elvive clay but I found on me it made the dry bits drier but the greasy bits stayed greasy Confused
