Laser hair removal - cost, Cardiff

Hi everyone - I have previously had a few sessions of laser hair removal (works an absolute treat!) a few years ago in London but because of work have had to live in rural areas where there were no laser hair removal facilities. I paid about £1000 for full body for 8 sessions.

What is the cost of a laser hair removal course these days?
Anyone have any recommendations for Cardiff/anywhere in South Wales?

Skin in Cardiff is good, they do the proper laser rather than the IPL as they use qualified nurses. Can't comment on the full body price, I only had bikini. They used to take club card vouchers too... Not sure if they still do.

@Darkestseasonofall is that 'sk:n clinic'? just looked it up, its £655 per session Shock or about £4000 for 8 sessions (I thought prices would go down rather than up as the technology is around longer..)

Yes that's the one. Ooh that price hurts more than the actual treatment Sad

Have you looked at groupon?
It's a weird time (understatement) so there might not be much choice but I've used groupon for laser removal and it was good (I'm not near Cardiff though)

@liky are you sure it was laser hair removal and not IPL? Even when I was on London, most "laser" on groupon is actually intense pulsed light therapy which while its good is nowhere near as good as actual laser.

In case it was IPL you had done, I'd recommend Phillips Lumea (I'm sure there are other home IPL machines) which for about £200 and something like 20,000 flashes are a pretty decent use of money! I own one its good but only if you're religious in keeping on top of doing regularly (which I must admit I am quite sporadic depending on how busy my life is in general)
