Hot brush or babyliss big hair...?

Hiya

I'd love to have more volume in my hair and have been watching You Tube videos of people using hot brushes (like the Babyliss Flawless Volune) or the Babyliss Big Hair rotating brush. They make them look easy to use! But are they?
I'd love to look a bit more groomed rather than a frizz ball! I've also started using Olaplex which is definitely helping make my hair stronger and better condition.
I have shoulder length hair with balayage

So, should I ask for one of these hair tools for Xmas? If so, what do you recommend?
Thanks!

I have babyliss big hair and i get soooo much vollume. I have thin hair but lots of it so it lays flat if i straighten. Its much easier than traditional blow dry but you still need to work. Its 50 % easier but still need to section properly and go over the roots. Theres a lot of puling upwarsds and outwards so if you have thinning hair id use mousse and rollers instead.

I didn't get on with the Babyliss. Much prefer the Revlon for big bouncy blow drys of which I am absolutely incapable of achieving with just a hairdryer

I agree that the Babyliss Big Hair is wonderful. I am on my second one and have recommended it to loads of friends.
I have shoulder length, thick but fine hair. I rough dry my hair until about 80% dry. I then clip it into sections and use the BBH. There are loads of videos on YouTube showing you how to use it. It's very easy.
Highly recommend.

Hi. I have the Babyliss Sheer Volume (rotating hot brush, no air) and recently got the BBH. I think the BBH gives more volume as it’s used on damp hair so you can activate any root lift/volumising product applied after washing.

The Sheer Volume is more like a straightener in that it finishes and smooths dry hair so I use it more in between washes to calm down any frizz or smooth out kinks. You can get a bit of volume if you really concentrate on the roots.

Thanks so much! Have just asked for BBH for Xmas. Am hoping I'll get the hang of it with a bit of practice
