Pedicures in winter?

In the summer time I get regular pedicures. Or I do them myself at home. But I like to have polish on my toes. In the colder months however I don't bother as much.

I still get waxed of course and I do my nails, but when it comes to doing my feet (or getting them done) I'm a bit 'meh'. I do moisturise and take care of them but can't be bothered with all the faff around painting them, taking the polish off, painting them again...

Anyone else as lazy?

I do it in winter, but only when I can be arsed. It's so much easier when they're already out in flip flops.

I normally get one pedicure at the start of Autumn and then one in December/Jan as I have a black tie function. (Will not be on this year). I find it difficult to do my toes properly myself.

I stopped painting because actually a healthy pink nailbed is rare.. under the nail polish could be all sorts of fungus.
I like the clean minimalist look of healthy feet. At a push i might apply dior that glowy clear pink nail varnish but thats it.

And this time of year I don't want to have my toes out to paint them. I want them wrapped in thick, warm socks!

I have mine done as soon as flip flop / sandal weather appears so usually April to September ish. I don't do anything in winter to give the nails some oxygen.

I had a fungal nail infection a few years ago and do not ever want to have one again.

I have a pedicure every month but I don't have nail varnish on over winter.

I had one on Wednesday. Felt a right berk walking home in flip flops!

I've got a diabetes check up next week and I take pride in presenting nice looking feet for inspection Grin

One year DH got me a year's worth of pedicures for Christmas, God love him.
