Coarse dry grey hair ? Anyone ?

Growing out the blorange dye over lockdown. The front is very grey although the back and sides are still brassy brown. I've noticed that the grey at the front is very coarse and wirey and despite using the garnier banana hair mask every wash it just feels parched, it's lost all its natural movement, any wind and it just sticks up. I'm debating getting it chopped off into a pixie after lock down but at the moment that's some time away. Can any one recommend a conditioner/ hair mask that may add some moisture without making the rest greasy ?

Sorry don't know about masks but grey and white hairs generally are coarse. I pull my hair out and I love finding whites and grey's!

Me too sadly but now my grey outnumber brown so not a good idea Grin

I have very dry, coarse hair, now with added grey and have had success with Joico moisture range of shampoo and conditioner. However, try to only use the conditioner where needed as I find it impossible to rinse out of my roots.

Yes! The new Olaplex 0 followed by the No 3 has utterly transformed my bleached hair (with grey roots). It makes it like silk. Total game changer.

Joico - heard good things about the brand in the past
Olaplex - will see if any is on offer !

White Hot Hair products are very good.

I have long, wiry coloured hair that it very dry on the mid lengths/ends. I like schwarzkopf bonacure moisture shampoo followed by either Tony and Guy damage repair mask or bleach reincarnation mask for conditioning. When its still wet I comb through loads of Serie expert absolut repair serum or phytodefrisant and let air dry. I think basically I am loading it up with lots of silicone but it must sort of work because I've had a few people say they like my hair...which is bizarre....they never did this when I was younger!

There is also a Bonacure time restore shampoo and conditioner which I also found good.

Pantene 3 minute miracle conditioner has made a huge difference to my greys! They are much smoother and less curly/frizzy.

Pantene isn't too pricey so I'll give that a go and look at the bonacure as well, think I've seen it in tk maxx

It's not got the No 0 in it though, which is the important bit.
