I always get my hair done at a Salam and have a balayage style colour so number 5 brunette on top and then fades into a blondey colour.
I want to freshen up my hair at hone during lockdown but have no idea what colours to get?! A number 5 brunette for the top but what colour for the ends?! Bleach? I Ah have no idea 🤣🤦🏻‍♀️ Help 😫

I'd do the roots regrowth and TOTALLY LEAVE THE LENGTHS ALONE or you'll ruin everything and end up with green/orange hair for a month until your salon reopens (and then a long stint in the chair while they fix it).
Speaking from bitter experience Blush

Can you message your hairdresser to get the exact brand and colour match for the root? And they will probably be happy to give you some advice to see you through the next few weeks if you're a regular customer

Yes - it's only 4 weeks so I'd just do the roots. It's the safest option!

Haha thank you for your replies! I don't know what I was thinking your both right I should leave the ends and just do my roots 🤣 I am looking at Purple Shampoo to tone down the brassy ends has anyone found it works? X

Don't touch your hair!

Tone with a decent purple shampoo (Lee Stafford is the best I've found) by leaving it on for 5 minutes in the shower.

Takes my blonde from brassy orange to near platinum instantly.
