Are bootcut jeans coming back?

I saw a targeted add on Facebook from Topshop the other day (though god knows why, I haven't shopped in Topshop for about 20 years). All of the jeans advertised were either bootcut or flare.
Are they coming back?

I think they are, I just got two pairs on ebay for £18. They are oasis scarlett bootcut, not two wide just a small bootcut, the thing is they are what I used to ware ten years ago and had lots of pairs as they were my favourite till skinnies came, I only gave them away to charity shop last year as then I felt they were frumpy, should of holded on to them, mind you they were size 8 I now am a ten.

I looked shit in my bootcut when I look back but I think it's all in the shoe...

People keep saying that they are but I am still seeing most influencers in straight leg so it may not be a fast moving trend?

Yes they seem to be. After years of only wearing skinny jeans, flared or bootcut are the only styles my 16 year old daughter will wear now. And she's very fashion conscious.

They never went away for me. But I'm not exactly a follower of fashion.

What shoes should one wear with bootcuts? Especially when it's chilly?

They've been pushing them for the last 3 years or so. They haven't been that successful.

It all comes back around eventually as what’s old hat to us becomes new and fresh to the youngsters who’ve never worn it before.

Hoorah! I hope the fashion lasts into next year, as I'm currently living in leggings.

I still have some bootcuts which I was wearing until pregnancy last year, so I never actually let go but it'll be good to be able to buy new ones. What I really want is the kick flares that are skinny to the knee then kick out wide - they suit my shape best of all trousers.

I always wear this style of jean, I’ve biggish hips so they’re the best style to suit me, I don’t care if it’s a fashion or not, if it suits me I‘ll wear it
