Dress advice

I am a bit hopeless when it comes to fashion. I have been working from home and wearing old leggings and jeans and feel I really ought to make more of an effort. I am online shopping and a bit stuck when it comes to dresses.

I'm petite, size 8 but since having my boy I have diastesis recti and a bit of a round tummy. Not round around the sides but to the front, as if I was in early pregnancy.

Since then I find no dresses are ever flattering. I fee really self conscious. I feel like there has to be a type of dress that works for this body shape but can't think what?

Any advice?

I have narrow hips if that makes any difference (only just highlights the tummy more in my opinion....)

Have you considered something like this? Not too voluminous but with nice movement and a belt/tie at the waist that can be adjusted.
