Hi all...I've gone dark from previously spending 200-300 hundred every few months on highlights.

Hairdresser is recommending regular semi perm gloss colours

Any thoughts on doing this at home?

I tried a josh woods gloss yesterday and it’s great. There’s not been a huge colour change but the improvement to the condition of my hair has been really noticeable. It feels really silky and glossy like I’ve just been to the salon. It was £19 and lasts 6 washes, should get another one or two applications from the bottle.

The Casting semi permanent hair colours are excellent. I have used them for years.

I used that same casting color a few months ago. My hair came out lovely and shiney but it was a bit darker than I expected. I've found castings good overall.
