Best straighteners for hair novice

Have just had my hair straightened after a cut and I really like it. I'd like to try to replicate it at home but have never used straighteners.

Can anyone recommend a brand/ model that is as fool proof as possible?

They are all very good. People will tell u get GHDs but I have cheaper ones only £20 just as good

My advice is go on amazon type in hair straighteners and look at all the reviews

We have always used Ghd's in our house but my daughter has Cloud Nine ones and they are very good too.

Would be interested in what people suggest too OP.
Any thoughts on the Dyson one or the Dyson stylers? I have GHD but only use them a few times per year. I’ve seen people rave about Cloud Nine.

I’ve been GHD forever until I tried Remington- just as good fraction of the cost around £30 discounted on Amazon. Honestly haven’t noticed the difference.
