I'm considering one for a flap of skin which will never shift regardless of weight or exercise, I'm at my ideal weight now but I've had children and I accept its stretched beyond bounce back.so has anyone had this? Was it expensive and worth it?how painful?any experiences shared would be appreciated!

Thanks all

Not me personally but my two sisters and my SIL have had tummy tucks post children, and in the case of my sisters, big weight loss after their kids ( DS1 from s22 to s12, and DS2 from a s18 to a s8). My sisters had a ‘mummy package’ - tummy tuck, liposuction and boob job, while my SIL skipped the boob job. They’re all happy, and DS2 returned for additional facial surgery. I’m hoping to do the same. They all went abroad - a good amount of Australians travel to Thailand for surgery. I’ve had other family members go too; Aunt had work done on her neck/ chin as it was a bit flabby.
Mummy packages were about £8000 including 2 weeks in recovery hotel. Scars are minimal, under the knicker line.

@Salcara gosh that's an amazing price for so much work!great to hear they went well and scaring minimal. Were they in alot of pain after?

That’s a rough conversion - they paid about $20,000 AUD and that was 6 and 4 years ago for my sisters My SIL only had hers done in May last year but used the same surgeon Prices locally would be more expensive but as I said, there’s a lot of travel to Thailand for surgery as the doctors there have a lot of experience.
DS1 said it was horrific and DS2 said it was very uncomfortable but manageable SIL got her mum to stay for three weeks after she returned home. They’re all happy with the work, but DS1 wishes she had had a bit more liposuction on her side saddles at the time. I’m the only female family member who hasn’t had surgery (yet)
