I’m trying to cut back 🙈. But also, at 31 I’m feeling like I’m looking older and older each day.
My first stop is increasing my water intake and fruit and veg.
I’m obsessed with a brightening cleanser from boots that is £5.
Anyone else want to join me??

I will. I've just bought those razor things that you use above and below your eyebrows to get rid of the fine hairs after you've tweezed. I learnt how to shape my own eyebrows during lockdown but these razors give a nice professional finish. And cheaper than threading. Also recommend home dying.
What I do need to start doing is dressing better and not waiting until my diet is finished to make an effort. Also to wear more of my jewellery - I have lots of nice necklaces etc and wear about a tenth of what I own.

Ooh that sounds interesting. Is it one of those that you can use for a dermaplanning type effect?

Oh I'm in. I have so many creams and potions and never use them. Would love to be a new me for Christmas.

Mooey89 · 30/10/2020 19:45

Ok! Me too. So many little pots/samples/creams that are unused. So I’m going to commit to skincare morning and night and use up the things I have.

I don't know tbh Mooey. My sister just told me to buy it for my eyebrows.

tracyon · 30/10/2020 21:29

Ooh... what’s the brightening cleanser?

Mooey89 · 31/10/2020 09:11

@tracycon it’s this:
www.google.co.uk/search?q=boots+vitamin+c+brightening+cleansing+gel&ie=UTF-8&oe=UTF-8&hl=en-gb&client=safari#lbl=OVERVIEW&pie=plaji-i

I use it on my whizzy face brush and it’s really nice!

Thanks. I fancy the moisturiser too!

Mooey89 · 31/10/2020 12:46

Do it and update me!

Come to the beauty hoarders thread if you want motivation and empathy in using things up. I’ve used up nearly 100 products this year - ok, some are samples and minis, but I’ve created so much space. I’ve bought maybe two or three things, which is unheard of.

I am doing twice weekly face masks to use up what I have and I’m really enjoying it.

Also bought some Fiona Cairns rose scented bath foam in Waitrose yesterday, big bottle for about a fiver, and I am really looking forward to a bath and a face mask and a Diet Coke later.

Mooey89 · 31/10/2020 16:24

Ooh @WellTidy I might hop on over!

Tiny bottle of hair oil by Hask, only need a 5p size on my hair ( shoulder length ) .I use it as a pre shampoo treatment , DD uses it after ( she has thick long hair )

I like The Ordinary skin products that I've used so far ( moisturiser , Vit C , Squalene cleanser )
Konjac Sponge - lasts 3 months , can use with/without cleanser

MrsHuntGeneNotJeremyObviously · 31/10/2020 18:58

Bought eyebrow dye and new nail polish today. Also started wearing some of my nicer jumpers, even though I was only seen by the staff in Superdrug and Morrisons Grin
