I recently turned 39 and am feeling really ‘urgh’. Looking for some suggestions/advice. What can I do with my hair? It’s quite long, about chest level and has a slight wave to it when left to dry naturally. I rarely wear it down as I feel like it just hangs there, it’s usually scraped back into a ponytail or bun. I fancy a cut/restyle but what? A bit clueless as to what might suit me. I’ve had really short hair (think pixie cut) in the past and it wasn’t a good look, all it did was emphasise my round face, so nothing too short. I also have 2DC, one 4 years and the other 3 months, so nothing that will require lots of effort in the mornings. I like the idea of maybe going lighter, a balayage perhaps? Any suggestions welcome x

I think you look fab!

Do think curtain fringe and a shorter bob would look great on you.

Just to add, I wouldn't colour it

@ParadiseLaundry

I think you look lovely. The autumnal colours of your blouse look beautiful on you.
This is exactly what I was going to mention but the right opposite! You have cool colouring and the colours of your top do nothing for you! Try a picture with a jewel colour for example, a dark bright pink, and you'll see how good your hair colour looks. You won't feel the need for balayage!
