Any recommendations for lovely indulgent bath products?

I am just getting back into having baths as a way to have some relaxing time and would love some recommendations for different bath products to try. I don't mind spending a bit , and I have somewhat sensitive and dry skin so as a minimum need something that won't irritate or dry out my skin. But ideally with a lovely fragrance as well.

Clearly baths are out of fashion Grin

It's the only room in the house with a lockable door that the children haven't figured out how to unpick yet Grin

Origins do a ginger bubble bath that smells amazing and is great for dry skin but is super expensive, I can only justify a tub once a year!

NeverTwerkNaked · 29/10/2020 17:52

Oh thank you, will take a look! Am in the mood to treat myself a bit Smile

Honestly it’s beautiful! I have to make do with radox tonight Grin

L’Occitane Almond Shower Oil is divine and doubles as bubble bath . Expensive but you don’t need much and the fragrance lingers for ages .

NeverTwerkNaked · 29/10/2020 19:14

I love the l'occitane cherry blossom shower gel and have been using that in the bath Smile but looking to branch out . I love the sound of the almond one but my son is allergic to almond so I can't risk it sadly.

Ooh @Littlepies I think I know the origins one you mean, is it called something like ginger bath float? Its absolutely lovely, I'm trying to use up all my half finished bath products so I can ask for a tub for Christmas Smile

PalacePaper · 29/10/2020 20:26

Also love the almond shower oil @SpeckledyHen but had never thought of using it in the bath - I'll give it a try, thank you!

The highland soap company bubble bath is gorgeous. The orange and cinnamon, Scottish raspberry and Whiskey and honey are divine.
Baby Grace or Cinnamon buns by Philosophy are shower gels but make lovely bubble bath
Heavenly gingerlily or muddled plum by Molton Brown.
I have a skin condition and these are all fine :)

DougRossIsTheBoss · 29/10/2020 20:32

My lovely sister got me a selection of tiny bottles of aromatherapy associates bath oils and that was the most amazing thing ever.
No good if you are wanting bubbles but smell lovely on your skin for hours afterwards. I find it really calming.

GuyFawkesDay · 29/10/2020 20:35

My total favourite is a lush butterball as my skin feels amazing afterwards.

My other fave is Waitrose own Chamomile (about £1!!) or their Ginger and Clementine bath foam.

Jedstre · 29/10/2020 22:47

I also really rate Waitrose ginger and clementine bath foam. Lovely smell and good bubbles. For a bit more indulgence I like bath oils. REN rose Otto bath oil is gorgeous, as is aromatherapy associates deep relax and This works deep sleep bath oil.

Neal yard bath oils/bubble baths are lovely as are the Jo Malone bath oils. I also like the Body Shop Milk and Honey bath powder.

Bluesheep8 · 30/10/2020 07:07

Indulgent doesn't have to mean expensive...Avon bubble bath is amazing. The massive 1 litre bottles are about £2 and the bubbles are plentiful. My favourite is White Lily. If you're familiar with Yankee Candles it smells just like Midnight Jasmine.

dingdang · 30/10/2020 07:29

My absolute fave is Badedas bath gelee. It is an acquired taste though, my ex husband once described it as pine toilet cleaner but I love it!!

louisethedisease · 30/10/2020 07:50

Solasta skin bath soak, I want it myself.

MorrisZapp · 30/10/2020 07:54

The cult fave is Laura Mercier, the one with the wooden honey dipper. I think it might be discontinued though as its out of stock on all UK websites?

beautyboxaddict · 30/10/2020 07:59

@MorrisZapp I thought that but then I’ve seen it in some Christmas sets that appear to have new branding so hopefully they’re just sorting that

byvirtue · 30/10/2020 08:07

I tend to use the Shea rich foaming bath or lavender bath foam from loccitane or one of the spa/sleep ones from the white company. Might be worth looking at qvc at this time of year as they have lots of “gift” collections from neom, molten brown, loccitane etc so you can try a selection.

I love it too, to me it's such a comforting old fashioned 'clean' smell and scents the whole house. It's a lovely cold winter night bubble bath. You've reminded me to get some.

This brought my skin out in an odd rash, is it the honey / almond one? You might wanna avoid if if so OP

Neom does a lovely sleepy bubble bath
