Jewellery for 16 year old

DD is turning 16 soon and my mum has asked me for some help choosing something for her, she was thinking a nice ring or earrings/necklace. I advised her not to spend too much as I would hate for something precious to get lost. She said she's budgeted up to £100.

DD likes quite urban/edgy jewellery. Could anyone recommend any brands that make nice 'young' styles that don't break the bank? I saw some lovely stacking rings on Monica Vinader (recommended on another thread) but they're around £90 each!

As an example she's always wearing the Brandy Melville handcuff necklace I got her for Christmas but that cost £10.00. DM is very close to DD and is looking for something a bit more special for this birthday!

Any recommendations much appreciated if you've come across any hidden gems!

Missoma, Monica Vinader, Aurum + Grey are all brands worth looking at

Hi @Thorinfling I make stacking rings, I normally put DNA keepsakes inside them, but in theory I could put anything (small and dry) in so can be customised for your daughter.

Orelia is good

nancybotwinbloom · 30/10/2020 21:16

Thank you all for the suggestions! I've sent a few links to my mum to see what she thinks!

If you come across something you think she would like that's just costume jewellery you could probably take to a silver workshop for them to make in silver.
