hair doesn't feel properly clean

Hair never seems properly clean!

Hair is longer (below shoulders), dyed brown (bleach mistake in summer by hair salon).

I've been told by hair salon to use a hair mask on it every wash now - presumably until damage is grown out etc.

Have tried:-

Klorane detox (the blue one)
and any other normal shampoo - Simple shampoo etc, trying to use it up.

I live in a hard water area too.

Am guessing my hair is oily roots/dry ends

any suggestions? No don't want curly girl method etc!

Have you tried lathering twice? I had to do this with a Klorane shampoo.

Have you tried a clarifying shampoo? Maybe you have build up from product

Aussie Shine always gets mine squeaky clean, if not on the first wash then the second.

How hot is the water you use to rinse?

I’ve started using new wash (hair story) and I’ve not had a single hair problem since. Would highly recommend.

AlviesMam · 29/10/2020 19:44

Don't use a hair mask every wash! This is why it will still feel unclean and oily.
I always shampoo twice and only condition on the ends of my hair. I would just use a mask once every two weeks x
