Desperately looking for something, anything.
My hair is just past shoulder length, with a brown permanent colour on it to cover blonde highlights. It's fairly faded now but it's SO dry.
I got some argan and coconut oil spray but it just made it feel congested IYSWIM.
Willing to try something spendy.
Looking forward to your suggestions!

olaplex will solve all your hair troubles x

I've been alternating Philip Kinsley elasticizer and Olaplex as an overnight treatment once a week, and that has definitely helped. Also if you can can bear to cut down how often you both wash and colour your hair that will make a huge difference to how it feels, you can always just 'co-wash' your hair if you want to freshen it up (skip shampoo and just use conditioner).

I love proper Moroccan oil, it's made a massive difference to the condition of my frizz-prone highlighted hair. I comb it through damp hair then blow dry.

Second vote for Moroccan oil. You can get a ‘light’ version which won’t clog up your hair

The Garnier Banana Hair Food makes my hair noticeably softer and shiny. It's half price in Boots just now too. You can also use it as a leave in, its honestly the best conditioner I've ever used

Loreal mythic oil applied before drying seems to really nourish and add shine to my hair. Also, look into taking some vitamins.
I have new growth coming in and it's always in good condition at the moment, possibly down to taking vitamins for the past year.

I love Moroccan oil hydrating hair masks for when my hair is feeling dull and dried out

Can I ask you all which Olaplex products do you use? I recently got an Olaplex treatment at the salon and the owner said that you can also buy it online, but I wasn't sure what products to buy - i.e. the shampoo and conditioner or the treatments?

Wildwood6 · 28/10/2020 18:16

Hi @Shuddawuddacudda, I use the No3 Perfector, which is a treatment you use before shampooing. To be honest, the first time I used it I was a little underwhelmed, but 1-2 months in I feel its definitely made a difference.
