Mom jeans footwear

What kind of footwear ( excluding trainers) do you wear with your Mom jeans in the winter ?

I love skinny jeans and feel like they go with all footwear, but I notice they are a bit passè now and I’m looking for inspiration!

I feel like biker boots look great with skinnies, but a bit clumpy with Mom jeans.

Really not into the Scandinavian look either.

Pics for inspo would be a plus!

I totally agree OP. Sneakers work but chilly ankles right now. Ankle boots that are tight to the leg (stretch bootie type or just narrow in the leg) balances out the loose jean. I find pointed toe ankle boots look best

I wear chelsea boots with mine

Pointed toe ankle boots
Chunky Chelsea boots
Chunky brogues ( although that raises the sock question)
Trainers or plimsolls in decent weather

Like last year, I'll be putting mine away for the Winter. I haven't managed to make them work with any boots and I'll only get away with exposed ankles for another few weeks.
