Does anyone else mainly buy clothing at Charity Shops and via Ebay?

I can afford to buy things at retail price these days but I just can't bring myself to when I get so many amazing things for such low prices at charity shops and on Ebay. I recently bought a Topshop blouse in a BHF shop. The blouse was new with tags and the original tag said £29, whilst I paid £2.50! Such a bargain!

Other great things I've bought recently have been a Maxmara white shirt for £3, Current Elliott jeans with a leather stripe down the side for £2.50, Seven for all Mankind jeans for £3, and brand new UGG boots for £15! I've been on Ebay today and just won a few Topshop items for 99p each.

Does anyone else mainly buy secondhand and what have been your best buys?

I started a new job a couple of weeks ago and bought 10 dresses from Ebay and been complimented on my nice dresses..I have spent on 10 what I would have spent on 1!
I felt really pleased with my bargains as weight gain over lockdown meant nothing I owned fitted me!
Previously I was a bit snobby but everything has been clean and in excellent condition.

@EvelynBeatrice I freeze woollen stuff as part of my anti-moth crusade, would that work for bedbugs? Or steaming them?

Tesco but lots from Ebay. Last month I bought 2 smart dresses for work and a blazer. I've had compliments every time I've worn the dresses. I think I'm doing my part for the environment.
I tend to only buy new shoes from shops I can try on though as my shoes need to be comfy.

Typos! Tesco=I tend

In all honesty, I'm only partly doing it for the planet. It's also because I've developed expensive tastes and this is the only way I can afford to indulge them. And I agree with justanother that modern clothes are far less likely to age well, so I'm not sure I'll still be doing it in 10-15 years time.

Evelyn I wash or dry clean everything before wearing but that's as far as I go. I've never been caught out but I guess if I had been, I might not be quite so blasé about it.

Most of my clothes come from eBay. I’m too old to care if they’re last seasons colours.

I never find anything on eBay. I’ve bought before I and it’s most certainly “not as described”

What is Spock.
