Heat-related hair breakage... HELP!

Hi all, I straighten my hair every day and have done for a long time. I've just started to get some really bad breakage in my fringe and it looks bloody awful. I use heat protection spray.

Short of stopping straightening it (I know it sounds lame but I really can't...) do any of you have any good solutions or products? I know I can't do much about the hair that's already broken (Sad) but I'm really keen to stop anymore breaking!

Thanks Smile

Try Olaplex, it's very good for damaged hair. Do you colour it? I used to colour mine and chemically straighten it AND heat style it. It unsurprisingly didn't like it and broke quite badly. I gave up the colour and chemical straightening and it's been fine.

Thank you. I don't colour it at the moment, but I'm about to Grin... Got an appointment for the end of November to have it done because loads of my greys are going yellow. Honestly my fringe is the bane of my life atm.

My hairdresser says my hair is in good condition, too, so my yellowing tuft is a bit of a mystery. Smile
