Dubarry alternatives

I was all set to get some dubarry boots but I'm a bit wary having read that quality has gone down recently and they don't last long.

So I'm looking for alternatives. A stylish waterproof boot which is simply used for winter walks across the country side but smart enough to wear into town.

Cost isn't really an issue but if it's over £150 I'd want them to last at least 4 years.

I've had these and they lasted for years, also had a pair of Dublin boots but I can't find a link to the exact style but may be worth a look.

Whatever you do, don't buy a pair of Fairfax the quality is rubbish and alot of people are returning back to Dubarry.

Ariat have a lot of lovely waterproof styles.
