DD (10) wants to experiment with make up. I don't and have never worn makeup. I'm going to get her a 'How to' book (although I suspect she will use YouTube more).

Amazon do big boxes of things for about £25, but I suspect the quality is poor - is the best sort of thing to get her started?

I'd like to get her things to put it on with, something to take it off with (?) and a core set of things she is likely to use and have fun experimenting with.

Obviously also want it to be safe and easyish to use for a child, as well as cruelty free. Budget wise don't really want to go over £30ish as don't want this to be whole Xmas present. I'm totally out of my depth here, so any suggestions would be very welcome.

Try Superdrug and look at the revolution make up. You can get lots of pallets and sets especially at Christmas and reasonably priced. I'm not sure about the cruelty free aspect but their website will have that information.

Try Superdrug - MUA is cheap and nice enough quality or Revolution is also good then their own brand skincare is lovely and very reasonable I’m sure you’d get a nice cleanser and/or some wipes for taking make up off.

I wouldn’t bother with a book but maybe a homemade voucher for a promise to get her a make up lesson of some kind at a department store or with a local make up artist.

I hadn't even though of Superdrug Blush.

Love the idea of a a lesson - I'll definitely look into that.

Honestly if you go to the biggest superdrug you can think of, you’ll be amazed at the ranges!

[HTTPS://www.boots.com/vichy-dermablend-3D-correction-foundation Foundation] Vichy is good and is also quite full coverage .My DD has redness and minor acne; She uses this to cover it.
