How to wear tan knee high boots....

.... without looking like I am about to mount a horse. My new boots are lovely but what goes well with them ?

Can we see a pic of the boots then it's easier to style please

Can you wear them with a dress or skirt?

Here’s a photo, they look wide legged in the picture but they’re not. I have long legs and they come just under my knee. I am 5’9” and size 12. Are black tights acceptable with brown boots ?

I think it's quite stylish to wear them under midi skirts and dresses, floaty ones. Definitely no way you could go riding dressed like that 🤣

I've got a similar pair that I've had a couple of years.

I wear them over skinny jeans sometimes. Also have a deep green suede skirt they look good with. Navy would also work.

Absolutely wear with black tights. In my humble opinion any other colour tight (other than skin colour) is vile!!

As pps said, floaty or tight midi skirts and dresses, leggings or jeans with long lined shirts jumpers or tunics!

I wear mine with jeans, leggings, minis, midis, knee-length.

Often with black tights
Usually with bare legs/flesh tights/sometimes with grey marl tights if rest of the outfit doesn't have black in it.

Someone will ask you where your horse is. Just smile radiantly as though youve had a bracing hack with the stable boy

I think they would good with midi skirts/casual dresses /black tights as suggested or with leggings/tunic , skinny jeans /long cardigan

You can wear them with pretty much everything you would normally wear with black boots!

I think black tights with brown boots looks horrible, unless the brown is dark. There’s nothing worse than the school girls you see wearing black tights and brown lace ups.
