Wide fitting boots for wide feet, not calves

Are there any brands that are made particularly wide? For example I find that as much as I love them, I cannot wear Timberlands because they come much too narrow.

The usual wide fit offerings from the likes of Hotter, Gabor, New Look, Simply Be, are not to my liking at all.

If I search for wide fit boots I get boots that are for the wide of calf (e.g. Duo). That's not me. I am a size 10, I simply have wide feet.

Ideally I am looking for leather boots with a chunky heel of 6cm, open to styles, colours, ankle, knee, etc.

there are some Dr Martens with a chunky heel

Some Sorels have heels although I'm not sure if these are any good for wide feet

Clarks have a lot of wide fit boots at the moment

I have wide feet. I buy most shoes and boots from Russell and Bromley but also have ankle boots from Ecco, and knee high boots from Aquatalia and Bertie. For a cheaper option I have had some success with Clarks wide fit but only for ankle boots and shoes, not tall boots. You could also try Ara or K+S (both German brands) as they seem to be wider fitting or for outdoors wear try Dubarry or Ariat. Its very frustrating but over time I've learnt what works and don't bother with anything too narrow now even if it does look nice. Does mean I spend ages in shoe shops!

I find Fly boots nice and roomy .

I particularly like the ones with side zips which make getting them on and off very easy.

Clarks often have wide fitting and I use a leather stretching spray which helps a lot .

Fly seem to loosen up very quickly .

I have wide feet too, it's a bit of a nightmare as often end up with shoes too big in length but that fit for width.
I have a couple of pairs of Fly boots. They fit perfectly and last forever

Duo do wide fitting on the feet too, and a range of narrow to wide leg fits.
