How well do mixed-material knits wash, keep their shape, etc?

I’ve seen some lovely jumpers and cardis that are mixed materials, for example: 30% mohair, 30% polyamide, 40% acrylic.

Most of the knits I have are 100% wool or a cotton/acrylic mix, so I’m just wondering if the mohair mix would wash okay?

I would think the mohair would shed over the other knits
As long as you wash on a gentle wash with woolite or delicate detergent they should be fine
