I just had to jump on a video call with a client. I quickly put some lipstick on (it now lives on my desk with my pens and pencils) but my hair was a mess. I have long, wavish/straightish dark hair. I usually pull it back with a claw clip so it's off my face. But that screams 'I couldn't be bothered' and doesn't, IMO, look professional enough for client meetings.
Does anyone have any suggestions on how to easily style my hair type and length so I'm presentable on video calls (I'm in my late forties)? Buns are too severe-looking for me and leaving my hair down looks even worse than a claw clip. I recently bought a clip-in fringe which my hairdresser cut and styled so I may need to resort to that. Although it's not the kind of thing you can quickly throw on - unless the aim is to provide entertainment for everyone in the meeting! Help...
