What style layering t-shirt/where from?

I'm after the type of plain t-shirt that can be worn under a cardi/denim shirt/leather jacket etc.

In the past I loved either loose linen t-shirts from Boden (the style with a slight sort of bobble/slub, a tiny bit transparent) or the thin style from All Saints. I also bought a few of the H&M but found them far too short in the body (I'm 5 9') and they kept popping out which was annoying/didn't look great.

Now that I'm less trim, I find this style clings to all the bits I'd want to skim over and are unflattering.

I have tried the more 'boxy' 90s style t-shirts that are in fashion, but just don't really like the style on me and the shape doesn't flatter my frame.

Where do you buy your plain t-shirts from? I am really missing having such a staple that goes with most things but with current Covid restrictions etc don't fancy lots of returns.

Lands End. They do a wide variety of styles and fabrics, plus they do many of their garments in a Tall range. Which makes me very happy, as I am 5'8" with a long body Grin
