I'm getting married end of Jan.
Obviously it's a very small do with only immediate family but I also want to look 'special'.

Second time round for both of us and I'm early 50's and only 5' 1 so need something petite.
Also don't really want to spend more than £200

What are other brides wearing for these small weddings now?

Thank you in advance for any thoughts.

Ally Street has off the peg lovely wedding dresses that are special but not OTT. Great prices too and easy returns.

I also thought that this is gorgeous (and a bargain)

All being well I'm getting married next Friday and I'm in my 50s. I would also second Gina Bacconi and Phase 8 along with Hobbs. I did end up with a dress from a designer called Suzzanah who is ordinarily way out of my price range but I got extremely lucky with a tea dress in their sales.

Congratulations OP

I'd honestly say whatever you like and look good in. I wouldn't worry about what everyone else is doing.

Do you know roughly what you want? Do you still want to look a bit traditionally bridal or boho, modern trouser suit, tailored etc etc.

If it was me, I'd go this length or a chiffon trouser suit.

Thank you!!

I have been looking at Gina Bacconi a lot but just a bit worried they will all look too long on me.

I guess I will have to take the plunge and order some to try on.

And I will look at all the other suggestions.
