Hi all,

I’ve lost just over 8 stone, and I’d lost the fat pads in my cheeks. I had filler placed in them yesterday and am really really pleased with the results! It’s really subtle but makes such a huge difference to my face.

Has anyone else had cheek fillers? Did you like the results? How long did it last for?

Thank you.

I'm currently shopping around for fillers or a mini face lift. Can I ask who you went to please?

Wagsandclaws · 22/10/2020 22:21

The guy I use is incredible, I have fillers and Botox ( and a thread neck lift after losing five stone ) he is amazing and I've recommended him to everyone I know who's after some subtle aesthetics.

He didn't over do anything and I'm so pleased. He's on Instagram and there are examples of his work on there. He's also a GP so I trust him implicitly.

Message me if you would like his name. Smile

Wagsandclaws i didn't know you could have a thread lift just for th neck, has it made a big difference? my neck is terrible, and seems to have got worse over the last 6 months
I have had cheek fillers which i loved, and made a difference to my face, but it's the neck and jowls which look terrible

I’m considering these to help with under eye lines and deep nose to cheek lines - have either of these areas been improved by cheek fillers for you?

princessTiasmum · 25/10/2020 23:18

The cheek fillers helped erase eye bags, couldn't see them at all, also helped nose to cheek lines as the filler lifts them too,Im having it done again early November,
I feel as if i have aged a lot during these last six months, can't wait
Im not likeley to be going anywhere, but it makes me feel better, can hardly look in the mirror now without flinching Shock

Going to ask about neck thread lift, now i know it can be done Grin

Wagsandclaws · 26/10/2020 00:14

@princessTiasmum yes it really did. I need it doing again now ( Booker in for next month ) and it's pretty expensive.

Unfortunately short of going under the knife which I'd rather not do losing weight has buggered my neck so threads it is for the foreseeable future.

Not all doctors will do them but mine is very skilled at what he does. Takes about 1.5 hrs and is quite painful for a week or so afterwards. If you are anywhere near Bristol or in the South I can give you his details.

Watching with interest, I've lost weight and got awful hollows under my eyes. I'm booked in for a consultation and possibly tear trough but I'm wondering if cheek fillers might be the answer.
