Has anyone found anything that helps thinning hair?

I’m not sure whether I’ve had lots of hair loss due to sudden weight loss. Or it could be to do with coming off of my bioidentical hormones (HRT) over lockdown and not renewing my prescription. Or it could just be peri menopause and my hair will remain thin. Right now I’m not sure. But lots of my hair fell out a while back and it’s now noticeable thinner.

I’ve ordered a shampoo that got rave reviews on amazon and I’m going to also do some scalp massage to encourage good circulation. Supplement wise I can taking biotin and vit D. Diet is hugely healthy with lots of veggies, good fats, protein and dairy.

Is there anything else I could try. I hear great things about castor oil. Would any oil be beneficial though or does castor oil have some special hair growth properties? 🤔

I was going to suggest biotin but see you have been taking that.

I have also started using theordinary.deciem.com/product/rdn-multi-peptide-serum-for-hair-density-60ml?redir=1 which I have read good things about. I use before bed and doesn't make hair feel greasy.

I have very thin/fine hair. I don't know about supplements or anything but I have found the best combo for maximising volume is a volumising shampoo and a moisturising conditioner.

I would avoid any heat products, they frazzled my hair so I very rarely blow dry it now & it has improved.
