Recommend an eyeliner soft but stays

I have been repeat buying Chantecaille olive brocade ( described as a
Gilded mossy green) but am getting frustrated with staying power and how fast I get through them. So I am wondering if anyone can recommend the holy grail eye liner ? Would love a similar colour.

Ideally want to order online from JL .

Avon glimmerstick s are superb

Ninkanink · 21/10/2020 21:22

I’ve always found Urban Decay eyeliners really good.

Midlifemission · 21/10/2020 21:34

Thanks both will look at those .
I love the colour of the Olive brocade so much !

Do you have a liner brush? Maybe experiment with some of the shadows you have and use them wet - I have loads of unexpectedly good staying power results with that.

Second urban decay - lots of colours, really soft & long lasting!

Rimmel exaggerate - stays on all day, and I rub my eyes quite a bit

Another vote for Urban Decay from me. Would this one be a good match for you?

I think Stash.

Oh arse, sorry OP - that link doesn't take you to the specific colour. It's called 'Stash' and is described as dark green/gold metallic. Looks very similar to your original colour.

QueenPaws · 21/10/2020 22:12

Marc Jacobs highliner stays well on me

I love clinique eyeliner - www.johnlewis.com/clinique-quickliner-for-eyes/p37328

Midlifemission · 21/10/2020 22:26

Thanks for all these ideas I will look at them @ilovecardigans @GreyishDays Stash very much looks worth a try.

Have also heard good things about the Clinique before I think.

@PersonaNonGarter that's a good point and I used to do that all the time but sometimes didn't go down well with my contact lenses . I am about to get some new glasses so will experiment on some days when I wear them.
Great way to get lots of variety - I have been in a lockdown make up rut!

Yes I think Stash is the one I use. It’s a gorgeous colour.

Ninkanink · 21/10/2020 22:30

Also always keep your eyeliner in the fridge, or at least put it in there a half hour before you’re going to sharpen it, otherwise you will waste so much of it.

ilovecardigans · 21/10/2020 22:49

Excellent tip @Ninkanink, thank you!
