Can anyone help with the sizing of LuLuLemon leggings?

I’m buying a present of Lululemon leggings, ordering online. The presentee is an enviable, very toned size 8-10. Will I buy a size 8 or 10. Do they come up big??

Lululemon is sold in American sizes, so a UK8 is a Lulu 4 and a UK10 is a Lulu 6.

I have found most things true to size, although if you're looking at a specific style of leggings you might want to Google the style name and whether it runs small. Lulu has quite a cult following online so it should be relatively easy to find out this information.

if she is a toned 8-10 i would go for a 2 or a 4. which style are you looking at?

I'm a solid uK10 and always buy a 6👍

Thank you everyone. She is looking the the Align ones. They’re for day to day ‘style’ wearing rather than an activity. Birthday gift.

Align are super soft i have about 6 pairs - a 2 will be a snug fit, a 4 or a 6 will have less of a 'lifting' effect on the bum but all will fit fine. Length is key, unless she is very tall she will probabay want the 25inch ones rather than the 28

I'd go for a 4. I'm a UK 6-8, and I find the Lululemon size 2 a little snug. There's not much between the two sizes and I'd just add that the Align leggings are fabulous and hold their shape. I'm a XS in Sweaty Betty usually.

I'm a similar size and the US 4 are perfect in the Align. I've got US 6 in other lululemon leggings but the Align are quite stretchy so I size down. Your friend is very lucky - they are the best leggings I've ever owned!
