Mac blusher advice

I’m struggling to decide between these two shades - Blushbaby(L) and Mocha(R). The photo I took looks awful as they both look the sameGrin they are a bit similar but one is more pinky.

Wondering if anyone would recommend either or help me decide??

Blush baby is nice but what suits you will depend on your skin tone

Haven't tried the other but just looking similar in the pan doesn't mean they'll look similar on the skin

If you find them on the website you could red the description or search google images for each one

@EatPrayYoga thank you. My skin tone is NW15 and I have brunette hair/blue eyes.

I have searched swatches and just can’t make my mind upBlush The undertone is different but I reckon both would look similar on so not sure if buying both is worth it!

I really can't help you decide between these colours. Personally I find pinky blushers suit my winter complexion better and orangey / bronze tones better in summer when my skin is a little more tanned,

The only other thing to consider is that Mac blushers seem to be quite pigmented or just go on heavily. Not sure which. So the effect can be quite strong compared to others which might mean you want to use the one closer to your skin colour.

A lot of people like blushbaby so I think it is a fairly popular choice. I have mocha and I do like it, but I do have problems with it in terms of hard pan from time to time.

EatPrayYoga · 21/10/2020 17:48

I found this one.

I think blushbaby might be better for your skin tone but it's up to you obviously.

I wouldn't order both if you're not sure. Order one, try it, and then see if you want another.

I think prism is similar too. I know someone who loved blushbaby and prism and she was about nc35/nc40

@WildCherryBlossom thank you, that is something to consider! Blushbaby has a sheer formula actually.

@DaftSkunk thanks! Would you say Mocha is more peachy or pinky?

Defo blushbaby - I love the colour and am off to order it !

DaftSkunk · 21/10/2020 19:22

Mocha is more pinky I'd say.

If it’s any help, I am NW15 too. The Mac make up artist matched my foundation, best advice I’d ever had , a lovely young gay chap. He also picked out the best blusher for my skin tone...Mocha. Been very happy with it.
