What can I do to not look like death warmed up on video calls?

I’m trying to address the sleep thing, but I am 51 and look it.

I’ve never been one for elaborate make-up routines. I also know that none of my male colleagues give their looks a second though.

Any quick fixes?

Also, phones are way better for appearance than a laptop webcam, and Samsungs are better than Iphones often. I second a slap of fake tan, sit facing a window and be looking up at a camera.

I put on a couple of drops of cheap Barry M highlighter drops which I like to think gives me a dewy complexion but sadly does nothing for the jowels I had never noticed before 😢

Yes! When your video is on, click on the menu next to the camera, then video settings, and it's called something like "Touch up my appearance".
