Does this exist? I'm a size 14/16 and currently have a thick firetrap one for the school run but am looking for something more stylish, waterproof and warm for walking dates! Any thoughts?

Literally this same post about 3 days ago. Use the search function.

I got a great FatFace one earlier this year. I'm a 14-16. I also have a lovely Joules padded one that's quite flattering.

If only they had not sold out in size 18!

Is Joules a decent brand, I'm worried it will fade over time

Joules have good quality clothing, should last you a few years.

I just bought this Phase Eight one which is lovely! They also do longer lengths ... www.phase-eight.com/product/cora-toggle-high-shine-puffer-coat-950548351.html#cgid=coats&is=false&sz=60&start=0&isSecondPage=false&pid=950548351&pos=20

My Joules Parka is about 5 years old and get worn to death every winter, I did re-waterproof it last year and it still looks as good as new.

@GreyHare
Do you mind me asking how do you re waterproof a coat?!
Thanks!

GreyHare · 21/10/2020 21:58

I did it with Nikwax Spray as my coat isn't washable, but if you have a washable coat then you can use the Nikwax that you put in the washing machine, I used both and they work well.

halfpasteleven · 22/10/2020 21:21

@GreyHare thank you- never heard of this process until now!

I got a lovely Micheal Kors one from tk maxx for £90. Soooo snuggly and warm and looks smart.

backtoworkmama · 25/10/2020 19:00

I've just bought a Rab parka from Go Outdoors (significant discounts if you google and get a discount card for £5.) Far from cheap, but my mountain climbing mate assures me it will last. Remarkably flatteringly on my not insignificant curves.
