Rinse out keratin straightening treatment?

I've used the leave in for 3 days straightening treatments in the past and love the results...but hate the 3 days of lank-hair-plastered-to-your-neck-effect! I think I read on this board a while ago about a similar product that you could rinse out same day...tell me I wasn't dreaming...?!

No idea. I haven’t even heard of the three day ones, but I’m interested (hate the salon treatments) so I’ll give you a bump and follow along.

Do you mean an at home product??

ZaraW · 21/10/2020 11:09

I've had it done at the salon so guessing there's a home version.

PersonaNonGarter · 21/10/2020 12:20

I have had the salon rinse-out-after-90mins treatment and the home 3 day treatment and the home treatment is more effective. I think you could compromise by washing on day 2? Still cheaper than salon.

It’s so gross, I know. But the results are worth it.

I used to use one called Choco something and loved the results but I think it got discontinued. I have tried the one in the purple box called Brazillian Straight, not quite as good but still good results. It is just the 3 day leave-in part I hate - my hair goes completely lank and I often get a rash on my neck, my skin obviously doesn't like it on that long! Any rinse-out recommendations...?

Kebelo is good, but I think it’s salon only.

Look up O Wow Hair. Saturate hair and leave for one hour, rinse, dry and straighten in minute sections. Smooth hair for about 3 months. I have REALLY shit hair and this works miracles. It used to take me an hour to have still shit, frizzy hair. Now takes 10 minutes to blow dry and stays smooth. (I don't work for them, it's just really, really good!)

I had this at the salon

Kerastraight - only at salons AFAIK but you can wash it the next day.

Yes Owow is brilliant, been using it for a few months now. I'm not keen on the leave in formulas, they have a lot more formaldehyde in them.
