Looking to buy new fitness leggings, heard there are some decent ones on amazon - any recommendations?

Thanks Egghead!

Anyone used amazon wardrobe before?

The Amazing leggings are brilliant. Lovely material, quite thick and non see through. Great phone pockets. I love them

trumpisaflump · 18/10/2020 23:12

Oh god! Amazon not amazing!

dancingqueen345 · 18/10/2020 23:13

I'd really recommend eBay for gym leggings. I won't link because if you just type in gym leggings the first ones that come up are all pretty much the same, but the quality is great and they're all around £10!

I have CRZ leggings from Amazon and really like them. Not see through and v comfortable. Have had them for two months so can't say how they will last longer term but still looking good so far. They have a few different styles, the ones with phone pockets on each leg are the ones I have.

I have several pairs of neonysweets leggings from amazon and they’re great. Non see through, wear well, don’t fall down. They are quite slippery/shiny though so were no good when I tried an aerial yoga class! I wear them for running, spinning, strength work, normal yoga

These are the best leggings I've ever had and so cheap:

I agree the Amazon ones are brilliant. I got a pair of the iuga and the crz ones at the start of lockdown and they are fab. Nice and thick, not at all see through but the best bit for me is the pockets. My phone lives in it, all my pairs without pockets haven’t been worn since Blush they do some nice patterns too if you like that.

I have two pairs of these ones :

JOYSPELS High Waisted Gym... www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B0834QZ1T1?ref=ppx_pop_mob_ap_share&tag=mumsnetforu03-21

Not the warmest but lovely thick fabric and I got a free pair for leaving a review. Good high waist and phone pockets.

I have actually never bought anything on ebay - is it safe etc? How long does it take to arrive? I think my thoughts on ebay are probably outdated by about 10 years when a lot of things came from china and took weeks/months to arrive..

@Siw2020 I know exactly what you mean, I felt the same way, but I was watching a You Tuber at the start of lockdown who recommended a few products and since then I have been hooked!

Things arrive within a couple of days usually, quite often next day. Most things are free delivery too. It's perfectly safe etc. Don't get me wrong, it's not as user friendly as Amazon, but I think that's why you can get things for much cheaper.

I'll link to the exact gym leggings I bought over the weekend and that I am currently wearing (they are amazing, feel so expensive).

Oh wow, they are cheap! but do look great.
I think I might actually try these out on your recommendation.. could I ask which style you went for?

Says theyre £5 but when I click a size goes up to £13 (still totally reasonable obviously) but is this meant to happen?
Clearly a newbie with ebay!

@Siw2020 I got the 'Black Seamless'. For sizing, I'm a size 12/14 and I got them in a medium. They're a tight fit, and there was a moment when I was putting them on I wondered if they'd survive, but once on I just felt so 'contained' (😂🙈). Like wearing tights but supportive, leg shaping tights, if that makes sense!

dancingqueen345 · 21/10/2020 08:17

@Siw2020 sorry yeah on price, I think the range is there because different styles/colours are different prices, and if you buy multiple the price comes down too.

CathulhuRising · 21/10/2020 08:39

I use these as really comfy, fits and washes well and the pockets are brilliant. They never roll down either.
Absolutely fab for yoga and running.
I used Amazon wardrobe in the past to try the thermal running leggings for size. Dead easy to use.
