Topper wigs

I have androgenic alopecia so I’m thinning all over but moreso at the front. I’m constantly playing with my parting - I seem to be losing more and more hair it’s pretty distressing.

I’m considering getting a topper it’s so depressing I don’t really ever wear my hair down it’s so thin I am constantly shading in my scalp to make my hair look thicker.

Does anyone have any ideas on where to get good toppers?

I bought mine from a localish shop, which was great as I tried on several and got loads of good advice. However, if you don't have a shop nearby, I would advise watching as many videos on YT as possible and then look on Simply Wigs who have a huge range and different price points.
Mine is a Jon Reneau which is good quality heat defiant synthetic topper and I think it was about £140.

There are quite a few videos on YouTube by the lady who owns the business.

Hope you find something. I’ve been looking but can’t seem to find the courage to actually order anything. It’s shit knowing it’s never going to grow back.

It took me a couple of years to pluck up the courage, but I'm sooo glad I did. It is worth visiting a shop if you can, as you can try on different styles and colours. They also give good advice, but more importantly, they really make you feel normal as they see women with hair loss in varying degrees and its no big deal to them. You will walk out feeling a million dollars and you will never have a bad hair day again!
