Prai neck cream. Over 50

I’m a huge sceptic about face creams generally and prefer the miracle powers of Botox ;). But. This cream really seems to work on an ageing neck. Maybe just moisturising it would have anyway - who knows - but if you’re after this kind of thing I got the day and night double pack.

Just started using it. Too soon to tell but it does feel lovely. Mumsnet S&B costs me a fortune!

I really like Prai neck cream, it has a nice texture and lovely smell. But i can't say it has made much difference to my saggy neck although it might feel a little firmer, and of course it is well moisturised.
(But nor has the NIOD neck elasticity cream either, TBH, and that one is more expensive, sticky and doesn't smell as good.)
I will carry on with Prai because i like it and it's nice to use but i think realistically the only thing that would make much difference would be surgery. Shudder. 😫
It's genetics in my case, my mum hated her neck and even my DB (younger) has got a crepe-y throat..

I’ve got this cream and while I like it I don’t think it’s made any difference to my wrinkly neck sadly

maggiecate · 17/10/2020 01:43

I got a travel size of the night one (with retinol), and now that the usual retinol breakout has cleared (neck spots?!? Wtf?!?) I think I do see some difference in the texture of the skin, and it feels amazing. It’s all soft and velvety!
I’ve just got the twin pack delivered today as it was on offer, so I’ll see how I get on with the day cream. It smells lovely!

I swear by Prai neck cream - it smooths and lifts everything.

TheSeedsOfADream · 17/10/2020 06:43

I'm more sceptical about "neck" creams than anything else but am always prepared to go and spend more money.Grin
Looking at the list of ingredients it's got lots of nice moisturising and smoothing things in it. The one thing that stands out is "sepilift" which is apparently similar to matrixyl in its skin function.

Ponks · 17/10/2020 09:23

I've started using it after trying a small pot of the night cream. Prefer the night cream to the day one, and I'm probably kidding myself but I do think it's making a difference.

If you want to give it a try you can get the travel sizes at Feel Unique in their beauty kit section - pick five things for £12.95 plus p+p. The Prai travel sizes are usually about a tenner so you’re getting your money’s worth www.feelunique.com/beauty-kit/

I bought this after hearing so many good things about it but whenever I use it the pilling is terrible! Is it only me??

TheSeedsOfADream · 17/10/2020 12:53

@maggiecate.
I'm putting my fingers in my ears and pretending I can't hear you. Grin
I believe Feel Unique do quite hefty cashback too...off I better go and have a look!

The pilling will be silicones. Try patting rather than rubbing. Neal's yard frankincense used to be my holy grail, then they changed the formula and now it pills dreadfully.
OperationallySound · 17/10/2020 12:56

Tretinoin is really good for your neck. As long as you use a sunscreen, it will make a visible difference.

FlyingLoo · 17/10/2020 14:17

@TheSeedsOfADream oh right thanks, will try patting it inSmile
