Hardy but stylish rucksack recommendations, please?

Need a rucksack that I can fit a laptop in but also nappies, wet wipes, snacks, purse, a baby toy, etc., and I’d like it to look stylish! Ideally in a plain colour. I love leather, but think it really needs to be waterproof and hardy/cleanable!

Would love some ideas! Thanks in advance.

I love my Roka rucksack. Comfy and big

I'm a big fan of Tumi and Mandarina Duck. This one is nice but you'd need to check dimensions.

Thanks @Snappyteabread and @LizzieMacQueen - they look good!

Another fan of Roka. It's my work bag (teacher) and has a laptop space at back.

TwiggyStardust · 16/10/2020 08:55

Thanks - I’m actually most tempted by the Roka bags. @Snappyteabread and @mizu - do they clean up well? I’m thinking I’ll get the yellow and am thinking it’ll show the dirt, but fine if it’s responsive to a bit of cleaning!

Mine is grey and so far I've not had to clean it

TwiggyStardust · 16/10/2020 09:12

Thank you @Snappyteabread - that’s good to hear. I was actually going to get black but keep getting drawn to the yellow!

I have the Mia Tui "Sydney", I love it. It fits loads in, is comfortable to wear, waterproof and stylish. It also comes in lots of colours!

TwiggyStardust · 16/10/2020 09:28

Ah, they’re lovely bags @HollyHocks13 - I’m now thinking I may get two (different sized) bags!

Got the burgundy colour Roka so quite a dark colour. I've had it a couple of years and still looks great.
I love the orange one Star

I have a Knomo Berlin and absolutely love it. It's like a Tardis and has a proper 15" laptop sleeve. Highly recommended.

I have this:

I LOVE it. Bought it originally for work, now I'm at home I use it pretty much every day, school run, dog walking, shopping.

It is totally waterproof, and I just clean it with leather wipe if it needs it.

My link doesn't seem to work, it's the Buckner Backpack

I have this and it is brilliant

I got this M&S bag recently in the 30% off promotion.

I went for the black, and I've been really pleased with it. I use it for work, and mum days. It has lots of handy compartments and it's comfortable to wear. I'm not sure how waterproof, but it's definitely showerproof. I've been using it every day for a month, and it still looks brand new.

I like the look of the Roka bags. How waterproof are we talking? It says they're inspired by London weather but I'm in Cumbria...

tonsattingforbjudes · 16/10/2020 12:11

@BobbinThreadbare123
I don't know anything about Roka bags but

would work in Cumbria!! I love mine.
