Shampoo recommendations for coarse, thick coloured horrible hair!

My hair is awful, I am currently using Gruum shampoo and conditioner bars which seem to be making it worse. Please can you tell me what you use. Preferably natural and definitely no brands that test on animals.

wella colour brilliance for coarse hair - it has absolutely changed my hair, I will never use another shampoo and conditioner now.

People rave about Champo take their quiz and they decide what you need. £18 a bottle though.

Or ditch shampoo and just use conditioner (silicone free). (As per curly girl method)

Or get a keratin/ Brazilian straightening treatment - it sounds as if it would do the trick for your hair for a few months
