Nude nails?

I've got in to painting my nails recently and although I love a bold colour now and again for a day or two, I'm a big fan of nude colours for most of the time. I like a solid colour rather than pearly ones, if that makes sense.

The two I have that I like are Expressie ones, 'get a mauve on' and maybe 'pink nude' but I will check the bottle when I get up. I don't use gels.

I'd love any other suggestions for colours? Maybe a skin tone nude or is that a bit old lady? I'm in my 30's and caucasian.

It's been around for years now but is a lovely winter nude. I used to use it before i defected to gels :)

My wedding colour: sand tropez from Essie. I get so many compliments. It's a proper sand beige, no pink. A simple but really rare colour and I love it! Must have purchased 3/4 bottles over the years.

Laiste, do you do your own gels? My friend did it for me a while ago and I didn't like how thick it was. Loved that it lasted for so long though!

I always get comments on what a nice colour it is. I'm a convert to home gel, I've watched some tutorials on YouTube and had plenty of practice during the last 6 months

It's so hard, all these suggestions look lovely! I hadn't even thought of grey tones.

Thinking I might have to hit Boots in my lunch break tomorrow.

My current favourites are Essie Go Go Geisha & Essie Angora Cardigan.

Nails Inc do a love range of nudes. Do a quick google. They tend to last a good 10 days on me, with a decent top coat.
