Silk or satin pyjamas

Just watching Licence To Kill and have now decided I need some white silk pyjamas!
I bought some Rosie silk pyjamas a few years ago and couldn’t get on with them at all, they just looked awful after washing. Any tips/advice, brand recommendations? Many thanks!

No specifics but these seem to crop up in the shops ready as Xmas gifts each year so you picked the right time for your impulse purchase.

Why did they look awful after washing? Curious.

I wouldn’t wear polyester satin pyjamas. I can only deal with natural fibres in bed.

They seemed to lose their shape and just sagged and looked really granny. I threw them out and was so cross! I love pyjamas so happy to spend a bit of cash as I generally keep them for years.

Agree re natural fibres!

Maybe posh white muslin ones are your pyjama compromise?

Not helpful but I have a silk pillowcase from silky tots which is bloody brilliant. I ordered DH one at the same time, he gave off about how ridiculous it was. Two weeks later he had a tantrum because it was in the wash

Of course if you have silk jammies and silk sheets you may just slide out of bed during the night.

Silk satin pyjamas were the luxury I took with me when I went travelling. Added bonus is they're light, and dry quickly when washed.

I've had silk pyjamas from all over the place. I haven't bought any recently because I have mostly given up wearing pyjamas, but I think the last ones were from Sulis.
